No 23. līdz 25. februārim Munameģa apkārtnē, Igaunijā norisinājās ziemas orientēšanās sezonas noslēgums – Pasaules Kausa izcīņas posms pieaugušajiem, Ziemeļvalstu kauss junioru izlasēm, pasaules čempionāts veterāniem un pavadošās sacensības bērniem un jauniešiem. Latvijas izlases sastāvā Ziemeļvalstu kausā startēja pieci Ogres NSC un OK “Ogre” sportisti.
Pavasarīgie, mitrie laika apstākļi bija īpaši smagi fiziski.
Labākie mūsu sportistu rezultāti konkurencē ar Somijas, Norvēģijas, Igaunijas un Lietuvas sportistiem:
Renārs Grasis – 1. vieta sprintā un garajā distancē V18.
Lūkass Siliņš – 1. vieta vidējā distancē V18.
Audris Odo Vītoliņš – 2. vieta sprintā V20.
Elīze Bremze – 3. vieta vidējā distancē S20.
Bruno Šterns – 4. vieta garajā distance V18.
Atklātajās sacensībās 1. vieta kopvērtējumā Artūram Jānim Krastiņam, 2. vieta Gustavam Milleram V16, 2. vieta Renātei Grasei S14.
Priekšā vasaras sezona un plānveidīga gatavošanās nākamajai ziemai, tai skaitā, debijai Pasaules Kausa izcīņas posmos elites grupā.
